We Found the Perfect Branding Partner for immi

Branding Kick Off

Even though we know some of you will be sad 🙃 to hear this, the current immi ramen packaging on the home page was always meant to be temporary!

As many of you may remember from our post about our company values from a while back, two of our values are “quality above all” and “redefine the standard.”

This means that KChan and I strive to be extremely deliberate about everything that goes into our company’s products.

We thoughtfully source the highest quality ingredients and examine every single design detail 🧐 that goes into immi’s branding and packaging.

The Search

We spent a long time scouring the corners of the web 🕵️‍♀️ to find the best partner who could help bring the branding, design, and packaging for immi to life.

With immi and our first ramen 🍜 product, we’re doing something that no one else has done before. We wanted to find a partner who cared just as much as we did about quality in their work and who wasn’t afraid to push the boundaries of design.

After a long search, we’re excited to announce that we’ve finally found the one 🥰.

Over the next few months, we’ll be working closely with one of the world’s best branding & design firms. They’ve previously partnered with some of the tastiest category-leading better-for-you food & beverage 🍴 brands in the U.S.

This firm is now part of the immi family 🥳 and we’re so excited to have them as part of the extended immi team!

Kicking Off

Earlier this week, we all had a chance to get together in person in San Francisco for our kick off meeting.

It was a jam packed day where we met with the two co-founders all morning to talk through immi’s vision, go through some branding & design exercises, and do a live sampling of our ramen.

Then we followed up with a small tour around SF and visited some of our favorite places like Souvla & Boba Guys and walked through the ramen aisles of local Asian groceries like 🇰🇷Woori Korean Market & 🇯🇵Nijiya Japanese Market!

We ended the day and celebrated with some mouth-watering hotpot 🍲 at Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot for dinner. It’s hard to see in the photo but the broths were delicious – half the pot was an original milky bone marrow broth 🥩 and the other half was a spicy peppercorn broth 🌶.

Branding Hot Pot

It didn’t help that there was an all-you-can-eat 🤤 special going on that night so we ate until our stomachs were almost bursting.

So worth 😋.

Stay tuned for more updates on our design & packaging over the next few months – we’re definitely going to be asking all of you for feedback and can’t wait to show you more of what’s going on behind-the-scenes! 🙌
